Fukuoka Taiwan Events

Fukuoka, geographically the closest major city to Taiwan, hosts some of Japan's most active Japan-Taiwan grassroots exchange. The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Fukuoka, the Fukuoka Taiwanese Association, and ACROS Fukuoka have long supported Taiwan cultural promotion. KBC Cinema and Cine Libre Hakata Eki regularly screen Taiwanese films. The annual Taiwan Festa Fukuoka has grown into Kyushu's largest Taiwan cultural event.
