Description
This documentary explores the story of Taiwanese former Japanese soldiers who survived the Siberian detention. Approximately 200,000 Taiwanese were sent to the battlefield as soldiers, and some became prisoners of the Soviet army, forced to endure harsh labor in the freezing Siberia. Directed by Ko Binsun, the film sheds light on the memories of the only confirmed survivor, Wu Zhengnan, and delicately portrays their identities and family emotions.
