Description
The only feature film by Taiwanese director Wang Chai-hsien, 'The Fugitive's Rhapsody', will be released nationwide starting October 10, 2026, beginning at Eurospace in Shibuya, Tokyo. This film captures the anxiety and turmoil of Taiwan after the lifting of martial law in 1987 and was featured at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1997. The digital remastered version marks its long-awaited theatrical release after over 20 years.
