Description
The Hirano Museum presents the first solo exhibition in a Japanese museum by Taiwanese artist Chen Pei-Yi. Around thirty works are displayed, focusing on cats and combining close observation of everyday life with traditional painting techniques. New works will be presented publicly for the first time, and her art connects elements of Japanese painting and history, developing images with a universal narrative quality.
