For this summer's first reading group, we quickly decided to read 'Taiwan Travelogue.' This work won the International Booker Prize in May, becoming the first Taiwanese literary work and the first Mandarin literary work to receive this honor. It has been popular among readers in Tokyo, and the award has sparked a reading frenzy. We aim to engage in in-depth discussions about various themes in this work during the reading group.
