Description
2024, Taiwan / 103 min. Director: Chu Chun-teng. Cast: Devin Pan, Koo Min-shun, Pan Chin-yu, Chen Chi-hsia. Shezidao is a lonely islet adrift within Taipei. Ah-liang, who works at a garbage incineration plant, returns to the very island he once longed to escape. One day he meets an elusive, mysterious woman drifting on the river, and life with her gradually ignites the loneliness buried deep within him. The feature debut of Chu Chun-teng, an artist active in the contemporary art scene, it became the first Taiwanese work selected for the Perspektive competition section of the Berlin International Film Festival.
